Girl, Whut? Courtney Eaton in Balmain at the “Gods of Egypt” New York Premiere
Courtney Eaton attends the premiere of “Gods of Egypt” at the AMC Loews Lincoln Square in New York City.
Girl, WHUT:
Miss Courtney, we don’t know you, but we presume you have ambitious career plans that are just now starting to bear fruit for you, so to speak. Congratulations. And while there is a part of us – that part that wrote the book on celebrity attention-whoring – that feels compelled to applaud your clear play here (For why else would one choose to wear this unholy ice dancer/drag queen/fortune teller hybrid?), there is another, more tasteful and easily outraged part of us that feels equally compelled to point out that you’re wearing the one Balmain the Kardashian clan considered a bit too much.
In short, this is one shiteous frock and you may just have guaranteed a spot on some year-end worst-dressed lists.
Attagirl.

New Pictures of Rob in the Dior Homme Fall 2016 Campaign

Dior Homme was so enamored with Robert Pattinson as the face of its fragrance that the company is now using the “Twilight” actor in its apparel ads as well.
And it has turned to Karl Lagerfeld to shoot Pattinson for the fall pre-collection ads that will be released on April 1. Dior Homme offers four collections a year: spring, summer, fall and winter with the spring and fall lines being pre-collections.
“We approached Robert Pattinson for the Dior Homme autumn 2016 campaign,” said Sidney Toledano, chief executive officer of Christian Dior Couture. “He was already the face of the Dior Homme Fragrance and he was thrilled to be also the face for fashion. When we told him that Karl Lagerfeld was going to shoot the campaign, Robert was even more enthusiastic and indeed, the campaign is perfectly reflecting the spirit of Dior Homme.”
Pattinson’s first fragrance campaign was in June 2013.
This is the first time the company is actually doing a print campaign for a pre-collection. In January, the company revealed images from its spring men’s campaign that were shot by Willy Vanderperre in collaboration with Kris Van Assche, the creative director of Dior Homme. Those ads featured lesser-known names: singer and lyricist Oliver Sim, actor Alain-Fabien Delon, artist Rinus Van de Velde and model Victor Nylander.
The Pattinson ads will run worldwide in print magazines including Esquire’s Big Black Book, GQ and Robb Report, as well as outdoors, in window displays and online.

Douglas Booth on the Set of “A Storm in the Stars”
Douglas Booth is spotted in full costume on the set of “A Storm in the Stars” filming in Dublin, Ireland. The film centers on the “affair between poet Percy Shelley and 18 years old Mary Wollstonecraft, which resulted in Mary Shelley writing Frankenstein.”
Some actors – and they’re almost always British – should just resign themselves early in their careers to the fact that they were born to wear certain period costuming and just go with it. Douglas, this is so clearly your sweet spot that you look eerily like a portrait painting that came to life and walked out of its frame. Even with the paper cut in your hand. Just go with it, we say. You can have a nice long career doing all sorts of period dramas for film and television. And a lot of them will win awards because those are the kinds of stories that win awards more often than any other. You might even win one! And you’ll probably get the chance to work with some titans of British acting who can teach you some things. Sure, it’s not as fun as being in a Star Wars movie or as potentially lucrative as being in a superhero franchise, but you’ll always look fabulous. And isn’t that what truly matters in this world?
